Fully automatic molding machines run under high-frequency cyclic operation for long periods. Regular fault detection can eliminate hidden dangers in advance and reduce unexpected shutdowns. Troubleshooting focuses on two core modules: vibration compaction mechanisms and squeeze head mechanisms including squeeze compaction, pattern stripping and operating systems.


Weak or complete loss of vibration compaction is a common failure: clogged air filters lead to insufficient intake flow, resulting in poor vibration effect despite normal pressure gauge readings. Long-term vibration loosens fastening bolts between vibration tables and vibration pistons, creating air leakage at matching gaps and outflow of power air flow. Lack of lubrication causes rust on pistons and iron blocks, hindering vibration compaction movement. Kerosene can be injected into pipelines to clean rusted components and restore vibration performance.


Slow and sluggish swing of squeeze heads is another frequent failure. First, clear iron scraps and foreign objects from gaps between front and rear squeeze head plates. Inspect intake flow of bilateral air pipes and trace blockages in control valves and air filters. Open cover plates to check rack rust, and clean with kerosene for severe corrosion. Inspect aging and deformation of bilateral flange V-type sealing rings. Regularly check lubricating grease on top flange gear bearings; deteriorated grease increases movement resistance.


Adhere to pre-shift daily inspections during daily production. Halt the machine for troubleshooting immediately upon abnormal noise or delayed movement, and avoid operating equipment with existing faults. Standardize maintenance of vibration components, squeeze head racks and sealing rings to extend spare part service life and guarantee continuous stable output of qualified sand molds by molding machines.
